I can't tell you how many late nights and early mornings I've pulled creating content on the fly for my higher-ups to lose their sh*t because the content had a spelling error/went out at the wrong time. That is a lot of responsibility and attention-to-detail for the UNDERPAID

This role requires you to be a copy editor/graphic designer/videographer/data analyst/moderator and you're lucky to make even 50k at an entry-level/associate level role. I had to negotiate my ass off to make even more than that.

You really need to have a bunch of skills to be able to do that job. Because they want you to do everything and don’t understand all that it takes to do it. It’s honestly very frustrating.

Yes! Thank you. And not to mention the detriment to our mental health as a result of taking the brunt of abuse from trolls. You’re not telling a brand you “hope they die” you’re saying that to the poor, underpaid, social media manager behind the screen.
