There is ABSOLUTELY NO REASON this first sentence should be true, with bringing and more to the table. The second sentence is ABSOLUTELY true. #indiecomics rule.

Our current @KickstarterRead campaign is definitely struggling, no skirting that fact. No one said it would be easy but I’ve seen this community persevere more times than I can count Are you with us? #comics #indiecomics #projectwelove kickstarter.com/projects/bando

I thought I had all the rules, but here's an addition! Rule 4 to freelancing: be likeable. 100% accurate that being nice to work with will get you work over someone consistent but obnoxious!

Communication I would pair with also being a good person. Maybe a considerate person, since it would encompass both. Being someone people like to work with will definitely get you hired again and again. twitter.com/dogshitjayyy/s…

IMHO there are only three rules to being a freelancer: Rule 1: Do good work. Rule 2: Do it on time. Rule 3: Communicate. That's all you need. You can break one at a time, but never two.

I always said, you can tell who gives a crap by those who tag and include letterers, and who have egos by those that don't.

You know what sucks? Not being included in the promo efforts for a new project by some team members. Not mentioned, not tagged. Not even for the simple retweet value we could push out to our own followers. I guess that lets us letterers know where we stand with some people, huh?

Ron's one of the most letterer-friendly writers I've had the pleasure of working with, and he knows what he's talking about here.

Not going to say what the project is, because I don't want to throw rocks. But just saw a comic that should reach and inspire a lot of people ... but it's ruined by terrible, amateur lettering. Lettering is not a production job. It's an artistic one. Always hire a pro letterer.

An important part of community is making sure it's accessible to all. Everyone should have access to and be able to enjoy comics. Having grown up in a small town without many. I understand how important this is. Donate and share! #comicscommunity

A con put on by a high school here in NJ for local kids and students needs some help funding their show. If you would be so kind to give them any help you can by donating or sharing, please do: gofundme.com/f/pburg-comic-
