I would not call it boring, personally. It was an “Ok” game. Sure it's a game that did stuff, but I did not think it was neither a GOTY material nor a terrible title for that release year. It did some good stuff, some hot, so good stuff.

I’m sure it’s fine (I never sunk my teeth into it personally), but it did come out at a time when the post-apocalyptic zombie setting was starting to feel a bit played out. Just didn’t seem all that original a premise to me.
