Horizon Zero Dawn will be free to own beginning on April 19th at 8PM PT / 11PM ET and through May 14th. The other nine games are some incredible indie titles: ABZÛ, Enter the Gungeon, Rez Infinite, Subnautica, and The Witness, along with PSVR titles for free: Astro Bot Rescue Mission, Moss, Thumper, and Paper Beast. PS5 owners will need an adapter to use the PSVR FYI.
While we are somewhat on the topic of next-gen it is interesting how Xbox and PlayStation are embracing the accessibility of playing these older games to help fill the gaps of both their next-gen consoles having limited libraries by way of Game Pass and Play at Home.
Two radically different approaches obviously, but also I think people upset at the limited libraries and "true next-gen exclusives" is unwarranted. It is the first year of both consoles lifespan, it is going to take some time before they start building out libraries.
To that point, now is a great time for people to start tackling their backlogs of some games they may have missed from the prev generation. Or, to play these games at say higher framerates thanks to some next-gen patches that have rolled out for a good handful of games.
