Every genre has at least one game that is the "game for everyone," from people that love the genre to newcomers or people that just don't play the genre often. And Pokémon is one such example.

As a little girl playing the first-gen Pokémon titles on my Pokémon, I learned the fundamentals and core elements of RPGs which influenced me to grow my wings and try other RPGs like Dragon Quest.
