Dead Rising is trending on Twitter. As a huge fan of this series, I think it's time to reiterate that the original Dead Rising was one of the games that defined the seventh-generation of gaming.
It’s a shame what happened to the series along with the closure of Capcom Vancouver. But I hope in the next decade, Capcom decides to do something with the Dead Rising IP, whether it's a reboot or a new entry in the series. Dead Rising as a series doesn't deserve to rot.

Dead Rising is a underestimate franchise, a few games make you laugh so much as him.
I love the first Dead Rising so much. The others are fun and good at what they do, but the first game is so tightly designed and perfectly fun to play that it's in a league of its own.
The first game is my favorite! Yeah, it hasn't aged well compared to Dead Rising 2, but it's such a deconstruction of the zombie genre that it’s such a unique experience.
