What does this mean? When I play online, I’m playing a different version?
Basically if a game was released on LS4 and PS5 sometimes the PS5 console would actually have you play the PS4 version of a game. So certain features exclusive to the next-gen version would be locked because you're playing a last-gen version.

I've seen a few people complain they were playing a PS4 version of Madden 21 despite EA offering free next-gen versions of that game.
