I can still make a strong case for why the Series S is a good console, but when you compare the two next-gen consoles from each company, the PS5 consoles are essentially two sides of the same coin (minus a disc drive) when compared to the Series S and Series X.
Nevertheless, I do love the Series S design, all things considered. But the 1440p resolution instead of 4K like Series X makes it a harder sell to someone who wants to get the most out of next-gen.
