All in all, I would say Xbox Series X preorders were handled better than PS5. I mean Best Buy was a hot mess and it still kind of is for people trying to get one from there.

Best Buy preorders went live like over an hour after every other retailer and it was a pain in the ass to check out at Best Buy if you nabbed a unit. And do not get me started on Amazon, which still has not opened preorders for Series S for whatever reason.

Still a better preorder scenario than the PS5 IMO, all things considered.

I don't think Best Buy has worked for anyone yet. It displayed "Sold out" for a few minutes and now it's back to what it displayed yesterday which is just "Coming soon"
