I'm not saying that will change, it certainly can but to me, you lose a lot of momentum for a console launch when you do not have a strong lineup of first-party games. I mean yeah you can buy third-party AAA games, but like you can also buy them on PS5?
Also full disclosure: I grew up with all the consoles in my household as a kid and I hold no bias towards the big three or PC in terms of console preference. Each platform has exclusives I like and I hold no favoritism towards one over the other.
Not to mention Sony scooped up both Deathloop and Ghostwire Tokyo for a year, two games I wanted to play on an Xbox lol
