My son, 7, is obsessed with that game but I don't get it. To me, the graphics look like an old gameboy game and it lacks the cool battles and pokemon catching of sword.
The context for the photos: I named the Bulbasaur Josh because that’s my best friend’s name and his favorite Pokemon is the little onion turtle, and then I called myself Taylor (also Charmander is my fav Pokemon, and I got Charmander on the quiz, too)!

It's definitely an acquired taste. It feels a bit too much like the originals which were on the GBA and DS respectively (as there were two versions) but I really liked Red Rescue team as a kid so
