It’s easy to stay in our bubbles and look within what’s familiar. It’s how we get jaded and salty and burnt on our subject matter. We’re all tired and overworked and need time for naps. But hear me out: do it once in a while anyway.

I was just talking with someone about this the other day! Especially someone like me that has a background in law, it's always a breath of fresh air when you see the journalist beat you cover from a new perspective. It makes you more multidimensional as a professional.
