Aside from the fact that the Dreamcast shaped me into the gamer, I am today, I will always remember the weekend memories I had with my family playing House of the Dead 2 (yes my entire family even my Mom and aunts who aren't into games!)

Or playing Sonic Adventure and trying to find all the nooks and crannies in-game such as shortcuts, investing a slew of time in the Chao Garden, or jamming out in the settings to the game’s impressive soundtrack.

Of course, I can't forget the other memories had such as playing Street Fighter III - Third Strike, SoulCalibur, of duking it out in Ready 2 Rumble Boxing Round 2 with my twin brother and my cousin.

Of course there were other games I dabbled into such as Crazy Taxi or trying Shenmue for the very first time after renting it and being allowed by how ”different” (at the time) the game was compared to other releases.

I guess what I'm trying to say, the Dreamcast was an amazing console that deserves to be remembered for not only the joy it brought to this that own one, but also be remembered for the influence it had on future gaming hardware.
