To provide a little more insight on this professor - she was my favorite non-major professor. When I first met her I had terrible anxiety speaking not only in front of people but presenting things.

My heart aches, I found out that one of my favorite professors and college has passed away and I’m ugly crying right now.

Through her patience and guidance I learned a lot about myself and she saw the value in my writing and she was not only a big influencer in helping me with my public speaking but also helping me realize I can make journalism a full-time job.
