Fallout 3 > New Vegas Okay first of all hoW DARE YOU But for real, I think 3 has a better story but New Vegas has better gameplay & mechanics. If I could mash the two into one game it'd be amazing...

IMO it depends on what you value in a game. I care about mechanics first, story second, everything else third. Story-wise New Vegas doesn't stack up, but I like the mechanics in NV way better. Especially the stuff with handloading ammo.
Also in regards to the NV and Fallout 3 argument. New Vegas has better mechanics and gameplay, Fallout 3 was good and had better subplots. New Vegas was more vibrant and pleasant to look at though.
