I'm really grateful for my mom, and the Family and Medical Leave Act. The FMLA means I can take the time I need to heal from a major surgery and return to one of the best jobs ever, and my mom has made this process survivable. She's done a lot while I'm next to unable to walk.
Just taking it day by day. Although I'm constantly getting better, it is intensely difficult.
