US auto makers aren’t pursuing ev’s that is a joke ! Tesla 1 US automaker is and driving the rest of the world toward EV’s and sustainable energy. Ford, GM and Chrysler are going to need more govt money to survive, their collective management have been woeful and should be fired

It’s truly sad and also hard to believe that European car manufacturers were pioneering in automotive technologies and now a days they are completely clueless.

It is the innovator's dilemma. They innovated in metallurgy and the combustion engine, something that other countries couldn't compete with. The incentive to shift to an electric drivetrain and software defined vehicles just isn't there.
