    Throughout the night at least 10 women and girls were checking their flight status for this mornings departure... Wondering if the sudden cold weather would delay them. Their time off work already scheduled. Their childcare arranged.

    Disabled women (especially learning disabled) often infantilised. Sex education often inadequate or absent. Poor understanding of capacity means disabled women aren't given tools to navigate relationships, opportunity, choice or autonomy

    Every judge, every solicitor, every law clerk needs mandatory training from & If this man had done this to a stranger he would have felt the full force of the law. Because it was intimate partner violence does NOT MAKE IT ANY LESS TRAUMATIC FOR THE VICTIM
