Even on top of the racially-motivated voter suppression, there’s an element of the GOP that just wants all interactions with the govt to be a pain in the ass. On the theory that folks will then support shrinking govt and privatizing.
An element? Just an element? ALL of GOP wants interactions with government to be painful! That’s Page 1 of GOP playbook.

In Aust it’s compulsory. Register @ 18. Placed on electoral roll. Vote on the day at designated area, have name checked, given voting papers. Can also do prior postal or early voting if travelling or whatever. It’s easy

Our rights are being trampled by hate. Our Country and freedoms are being eroded by the evil and the corrupt. It’s time to stand up and take back our Country before it’s no longer recognizable.
So republicans don’t care about rural voters? Imagine my surprise.
And we will still win
Democracy at work
Do we even have to ask #Why ? So #BlatantlyRacist
