    (the doctor asked what had happened, and I was too embarrassed to say I'd put a sheet above my head to act like a ghost, so I said I was running in my room & fell, though in retrospect that makes even less sense especially at 2am)

    10 years ago, while changing sheets, I covered myself in a duvet cover to amuse my partner [& act like a ghost?] only to slam my head hard against a wall I couldn't see & fall with blood everywhere. he wasn't amused when we ended up at the hospital for a bunch of stiches at 2am.
