I had low expectations for myself so I've accomplished much more than I expected I would before 30.

-got married
-have two careers
-helped pioneer a new form of entertainment
-moderately well known in my field
I did sorta think I'd have boobs by now though

I went to the mall today for the first time in years. Multiple stores were playing exclusively kpop. Multiple stores carried only anime/gaming merch. Hot topic has gamer-girl aesthetic accessories. Cutesy gameboys and stuff.
I wish it was this easy to find when I was a teenager.
Nintendo: We have so many great N64 titles we could put on our online service! It will make our fans so happy! We'll have to really curate it so only the best of the best make it on.
Also Nintendo:

Pokemon Emerald was released in North America on May 1st, 2005, 18 years ago today. It was released in Japan 19 years ago on September 16, 2004. In both cases, this tweet by official Pokemon Twitter is wrong.
I only had to accumulate at least 4 working GBAs, 3 link cables, 4 copies of RSE, happen to pull the e-Reader Nutpea card as a kid and probably one of like 20 people who bought the eReader card packs, change the battery in Ruby and Emerald and play through the game 4 times. NBD.
I will add that if I'm going to spend literally half a year writing about something, I'm going to make sure that I know what I'm talking about as much as possible. Imagine if I missed something really important because I stopped at the credits? A lot of work could be wasted.
Yes my experience doesn't represent every player or even a majority. But everyone's experience with a game is different to an extent! No two people will experience it exactly alike! So why is my take the only one that's not valid? When I put extra time in to think about it?
Developers don't go to extra effort to create content only some people will do arbitrarily. It's not like they accidentally include something like trainer card stars. They're directing play to some degree. Yeah not everyone will go for it, but it's not WRONG to do extra things.
I don't get why people hate completionists so much. Like if you read the Lord of the Rings and also read the Appendices, you get more insight into the book itself. If my goal is to understand what a game is trying to do, why wouldn't I want to engage with every part of it?
Someone requested I make a video of reshelling this chunky Playstation and consider yourself lucky I didn't. You don't even wanna know what I found inside this thing
I had a dream that there was a Sims 4 mod that gave everyone Rainbow High bodies (round heads, wide hips, etc) and I was so disappointed when I woke up and looked it up and no such mod exists :(
