Jermaine Massey, a Black man, was on phone in the lobby of the Portland @doubletree. Security guard assumed he was loitering, called the cops, who kicked him out. He was a paying hotel guest. Call @HiltonHotels 703 883 1000 & demand accountability.pic.twitter.com/sVyEObAwpv

This is so racist. Cops wouldn’t hear anything Jermaine Massey had to say. They made him collect his belongings from his rm & leave the hotel. @HiltonHotels wouldn’t give him a refund. I’m gold @HiltonHonors & won’t stay again if they don’t correct this.pic.twitter.com/qNjGK0zlAq

Not only should we demand accountability from @HiltonHotels, also from @PortlandPolice who were rude, obnoxious and just as racist as the old decrepit security guard Earl. Portland has a black police chief Danielle Outlaw @Chief_D_Outlaw call:503-823-0008pic.twitter.com/CdQTVrp7pW

A racist is a racist is a racist all day, but there’s nothing worse than an old white racist man like Earl the @doubletree @HiltonHotels security guard in Portland because you know he’s been treating black people like this for 6 or 7+ decades. #HotelEarlhttps://www.oregonlive.com/business/2018/12/portland-hotel-calls-cops-on-black-guest-in-lobby.html …

Dear @hiltonhotels The racial profiling of Jermaine Massey by @doubletreepdx security guard #HotelEarl should be immediate met with corrective action including termination of Earl and management that allowed a paid guest to be put out of the hotel by police. @doubletree

The @doubletree could’ve made things right once they found out Jermaine Massey was a paid guest by leaving him alone and firing the old decrepit white bigot security guard. But they continued the racism by putting the man out of his room and not refunding him. @HiltonHotels

Bishop Talbert Swan Retweeted DoubleTree Portland

The @doubletreepdx fired the decrepit racist whilte security guard and manager who racially profiled Jermaine Massey. This is more of a case of “sorry we got caught.” Had Mr. Massey not videotape the incident, nothing would’ve been done. @HiltonHotelshttps://twitter.com/doubletreepdx/status/1079037606770266112?s=21 …

        Bishop Talbert Swan added,

We have terminated the employment of the two men involved in the mistreatment of Mr. Massey. Their actions were inconsistent with our standards & values. We reiterate our sincere apology for what he endured & will work with diversity experts to ensure this never happens again.

I'm a member too. Where do you call specifically because I'm staying at the Hilton in Edinburgh next year for my two week vacation. The corporate number above, which I called outright hung up on me twice.
