What happened to the other 1,000 extra officers added in January that were supposed to be “omnipresent”on trains and platforms? Adding more police officers after the fact doesn’t address why this wasn’t prevented in the first place.

increased police presence has been noticeable at station fare booths, where 2 or 3 seem to be just hanging out, not on platforms and definitely not on trains. they aren’t patrolling!
