Tacoma Fire

The fire is out and the cause is under investigation.

Firefighters are arriving on scene of a residential house fire in the 1400 blk of S. Cedar St. Smoke is showing from the roof of the structure and crews are investigating the source and preparing for a fire attack.

Update: The probable cause of this fire was a malfunctioning garbage disposal unit in the kitchen. Preliminary damage estimates are $400,000 to the building and its contents.

Firefighters are arriving on the scene of a residential fire in the area of 56th and E. Swan Creek Drive. Heavy fire showing from the structure and crews are preparing for a fire attack.

The fire is out and there are no injuries to report at this time. The cause is under investigation.

Firefighters are arriving on scene of a house fire in the 100 blk of E. Harrison St. Crews have knocked down an exterior wall fire on the back of the house and are checking for fire extension into the structure.

Firefighters are on scene of a house fire in the 5000 blk of “A” St. Flames and smoke are showing from the structure and crews are setting up for a fire attack.

Fortunately no injuries or additional property loss occurred at this incident. A fire investigator is enroute to determine the cause of this fire.

Tacoma Fire is onscene at a structure fire near 3200 N Levee Road. Crews arrived to find a building that was fully engulfed in flames and we have assumed a defensive posture to protect nearby exposures.
