Also, perhaps it is time for Texas to consider a state income tax so as to lower the onus of responsibility for funding on property owners? It is NOT fair to us!

A friend of mine in Colorado pays less in property AND state income taxes than our property taxes. My sister in Ohio pays LESS in state, city, county, and property taxes combined than OURS IN TEXAS. Something is really wrong here! Perhaps something can be done to help us...
