“Texas must limit the ability of taxing authorities to raise your property taxes” Gov. Abbott said at his inauguration. Very telling that there was thunderous applause by citizen taxpayers watching behind the seated crowd, and tepid to non-existent applause from seated lobbyists!

Maybe a little but not too much. Politicians are always looking to tax people into the grave. The taxes would not be lowered, they would just find something else "imperative" that would need our money
So if pols are looking to tax people to the grave, are the pols in the mansion different than those in the Capitol or county courthouses?
