We are full time legislators representing constituents & Texas in a part time legislature. I’ve been self employed in the same markets since 1983. The projects are publicly advertised and competitively bid. More liberal attack rhetoric.

Can you refute anything in the article, or do you intend to just keep calling it an attack?

Just so we are clear here, does the article and/or this preported “spam” email state something inaccurate?

That's literally how MUD's work tho. Future residents pay taxes to pay for the infrastructure that they are using. Effective for building communities in jurisdictions with limited capital. (Don't care abt Bell but MUD's are common and often only doable by ppl w/ political pull)

A legislator voting on a bill to expand a taxing entity that later gives those tax dollars to the legislator's business should be considered prima face unethical, competitive bidding or not.

The tax dollars are explicitly for design and construction of infrastructure, which creates jobs and builds homes. Now if the bids aren't being properly advertised, or insider knowledge prevents a competitive, blind bid, and his co. is at advantage then yeah, unethical.
