Because most of the jobs added are low wage, so the fact that they're disproportionately going to women would be a bad thing. Means women are getting more shitty jobs, possibly 2 or 3 just to pay bills. Not exactly a victory.
I don’t get the strategy of these ladies in white. “We passed criminal justice reform,” they stand and clap. “African American unemployment is the lowest on record”... “More women have entered the workplace since WWII.” - crickets
