Sir I am your constituent, I am not a Democrat or a Republican. I am an American. I find this post to only fuel the division among the ranks. Is this really a productive use of your time? Perhaps you should ask how the government shut-down is affecting the nation.
Do you remember... Under President Obama, all 54 Ds in the Democrat-controlled Senate voted to double the length of a new border fence with Mexico, double the number of border agents to 40,000, and spend $40 billion on border security. What changed…?

Doesn’t matter. What matters is that many of your constituents are not allowed to work and going without paychecks while you play politics. Reopen the government and then you can continue your grandstanding

The difference is that POTUS is trying to get taxpayers to pony up a 5 bil. down payment for a 2K mile 30 ft high wall that crosses the Jacunda Wildnerness and parallels the Rio Grande. It will eventually cost 23+ bil. We were told Mexico would pay...?

The HB allocates plenty of money to border security. Stop endorsing Trump’s fantastical vision of a 2,000 mi wall that magically puts the steel industry back in business. If we have to spend 5B, maybe that should go to BP salaries, technology and imm. judges.
