Thoughts and prayers are getting old! Not, to mention they are not working to prevent shootings!!!!
We are shocked and saddened to hear reports of a shooting at a church in White Settlement. As reports come in, please pray for any victims and their families, this congregation, and the law enforcement officials at the scene. My office will assist in any way needed.

Maybe in addition to praying we could pass some legislation that would make it less likely for mass shootings to take place.

Sincere condolences and prayers. Also sincere: As soon as this story hits nationally it will be fodder for the left to further erode our 2A rights. And of course the town name of “White Settlement, Texas” will unfortunately add stereotypical visuals to their “cause.”

No one should be shocked, no one. We can't go to school, church, Walmart, malls, night clubs, concerts, fairs, or just meeting with your constituents without the fear of being shot. It's not if anymore, it's just when will it happen here.
