"Choice", huh? I'm having really hard time figuring why no Muslim man has ever "chosen" to wear hijab, though

If only the general public realized woman who wear the hijab are living their devout life most do make the choice for themselves and are not forced to do so. It's the same as the purpose for girls wearing a white dress for a Communion in a Catholic church. A ritual of faith.

Yah, but perhaps Communion it's only once a month, not everyday you should wear the white dress. That's a different things with hijab

Take this girl to a country where hijab is mandatory and she’ll be singing a WHOLE different song

I don't think you understand. For example, look at what this woman has to say. https://twitter.com/SafaiDarya/status/1223537979723014144 … There are women who are dedicated to their hajab, and there are women who do not want to be pressured into wearing it. Either way: all of them should have the freedom to choose.

I agree things should not be black and white. Should be about true right of women to chose to wear, or not wear, hijab. Women who choose to become nuns cover their hair as do some Sikh men. I think the struggle should be to stay true to making sure people are free to choose.
