crackle may have a license for their content but You do not have authorisation to broadcast that content on youtube. Freedom of speech is fine but facilitating access to piracy is not. You cant blame youtube as they need to keep advertisers happy.

Fair usage does NOT apply to Piracy. I could upload clips of football replays and claim fair usage and monetize and get hundreds of thousands of views each day.

I would just stick to their rules if you want to keep your channel. Regardless of law. They are enforcing their rules and they will remove channels promoting pirates content as we have seen time and time again.pic.twitter.com/DnYD9U79AM

They can do what ever they want its their platform. Channels with millions of subs lost their channels when they put tags in description. So they go after big channels also. I think they need to be more transparent tho.

I agree they should. Copyright strikes can be fought. However, if they see you as breaching their community guidelines, they WILL remove your channel. Really isnt worth the right. Remove the content and keep the channel otherwise risk loosing it. Really not worth it

I think it's really hard for a new content creator to really hit YT. For me I do BO4 Zombie content and its so hard to even reach a few hundred views per video even with using Tube Buddy.

Its actually easier than ever for smaller channels to compete. Smaller channels seem to be able to rank easier now which has really helped me with new tech content. Concentrate on targeting high searched keywords and you will get the benefit from it

Using tags does not automatically make you rank. Best thing to do is use them in your title , description and tags. Also look at your analytics, Are people watching the whole video? what is the retention? if retention is low then look at where they stop watching and focus there.

Also thumbnail plays a big part. Does your thumbnail stand out from the competition etc? good to look at the impression click through in new analytics
