P.S. everyone saying they would be burned as a witch: don't worry, you probably wouldn't have been. Witch-hunting didn't become widespread until the mid-15th century onwards.

It's more likely that you'd be burned as a heretic, but that usually requires you to either refuse to recant your heretical beliefs or relapse into heresy after recanting. So unless you're really passionate about denying transubstantiation, you can probably survive this one.

My career skills would be less than useless, but my hobby is woodworking, and I STARTED with old fashioned hand-tool stuff. I suspect you could make a decent living as a reasonably skilled woodworker pretty much any time prior to the mid-20th century.
