Melee 2018 thoughts: No, yoshi and pikachu aren't good now. Axe/amsa are sick. Sheik is still good guys, don't worry. Peach is one of the least optimized good characters. FD is and always will be my favorite stage. Hungrybox really is more skilled than your favorite player.

I agree with Sheik (in ntsc) being strong but I think puff out of any character is underestimated and not peach. I believe in Yoshi more than pika tbh but both are alright still. Can't argue too much about the rest hehe ;P

I think puff also has a lot to go for optimization! But a lot of it isn't "technical" optimization, if that makes sense? Yoshi and pikachu are definitely "alright" haha, i'm interested to see how yoshi improves pal yoshi is way better though LOL

Half disagree on the first point - the best player in the world doesn't JC grab, drill rest, platform RTC rest, ledgedash, shielddrop rest, haxdash, and tons more. I can't help but think he'd be even better even if he just ledgedashed against the dtilt plank challenge

1) JC grab is important, but distance per time wise its not a *significant* change to puff. its less laggy tho 2) Has anyone actually labbed and proven how consistent RTC rest is in each situation? It's certainly situationally guaranteed but i don't think its "derp free rest"
