i just think of it as mainly a drama, not so much a mecha the world is what’s keeping me really interested at this point, i hope the ball isn’t dropped with it

It's more disappointing than anything tbh. The premise is genuinely interesting but the execution is so god awful and relies so heavily on the worst aspects of anime. AND the fact that so many people think it's good because its fucking waifu bait makes me want to scream.

Especially when there are so many other animes this season alone that completely blow it out of the water, oof.

People who think Darling in the Franxx is complete trash have a abnormally high standard for anime shows. Its not even close to the worst in its sub genre let alone over all.
