It was working perfectly on the friendly setups but then didnt on stream.
this is not a setup issue if they were using vanilla melee (which they were iirc), its your controllers deadzone

No way I can say for sure it was a setup issue. If you were here and tested it yourself you would have come to the same conclusion.

was it a vanilla gamecube? and why could other people shield drop fine?

if they were using a nintendont without native control then no one shouldve been able to shield drop like normal

@G2Westballz means is he practiced on setups before the tourney, but since they had ucf, it messed him up when he switched to vanilla.
