regardless of if you believe that hitbox style controllers should ultimately be allowed in smash, they should clearly be banned for now -

you can by your rule easily make a trigger than makes you JC shine by doing: Jump->Shine by fully pressing a trigger.
the rule was made for normal FGC and doesnt work nearly as well for melee. The boxx also breaks this.

then boxx should be banned and modders should get better. It's possible to make a boxx 1:1 to a gamecube controller. That should be allowed.

yeah that would require no analog to digital transition (essentially a fightstick) I think almost everyone would be okay with this
