regardless of if you believe that hitbox style controllers should ultimately be allowed in smash, they should clearly be banned for now -

this doesnt cover everything, or even close to it. Take the L/R triggers for example, one "press", a TON of analog inputs.
you can by your rule easily make a trigger than makes you JC shine by doing: Jump->Shine by fully pressing a trigger.

the rule was made for normal FGC and doesnt work nearly as well for melee. The boxx also breaks this.

then boxx should be banned and modders should get better. It's possible to make a boxx 1:1 to a gamecube controller. That should be allowed.
