i'm pretty sure that almost everyone does not Short hop when they wavedash, even top players. pretty common to see accidental full jumps.

I always full hop, but I know quite a number of new players who SH when they miss wavedashes

Just do perfect wavedashes everytime, then it doesn't matter if you sh or fh.

If your timing is perfect theyre identical Short hop is technically better, so its worth trying to switch if your muscle memory approves
