Hopefully Fuse isn't seeded based on points. Standard seeding or top seeds picking opponent would make much more sense.

Skipping events means you get a worse seed and a harder bracket though doesn't it?
And the #1 seed is the only one who has to prepare for two opponents.

For what it's worth, as soon as I heard about this circuit my first thought was "why wouldn't 1st seed dq themselves for easier brackets"
