Well I do think carrying can be difficult if youre not significantly above the skill level.

more importantly, if you truly are in the "i havent played enough to get to my true mmr" (which very few who complain about teammates are)
then the practice you get from those first games will allow you to increase your true mmr and make you climb even faster.

its not this easy in league of legends. especially as a low elo support player. League is also hard to solo carry in general.
