Well I do think carrying can be difficult if youre not significantly above the skill level.

I think the implication is that a gold player wouldn't be able to carry in silver, while a plat would. I strongly disagree tho.

I dont think a gold 4 support main would have an easy time carring a silver 2 game. Not that they cant, but it would take time/grind

From what ive seen, the majority of people get to their elo by grinding. The idea of easily gaining elo is perpetuated by better players

Yea like if youre really smart/experienced it can happen easily, but the average high elo player has a ton of games played

okay so 1. difference between silver 2 and gold 4 is around 13 percentiles or more, which is MASSIVE, should be easy to carry.

2. even support/low impact roles can massively impact winrate, even by just being positive or friendly, even more so thru shotcalling.

i dont mean to be mean but if you have done it consistently it either isn't better than the avg or it is and your gameplay is below avg
