if this lets ppl more stuff in melee removing an execution barrier, and it doesnt "ruin" the game im ok with it

that being said, im pretty liberal when it comes to rulesets, and also not trying to lose a twitter fight to big leff

i still think the most important factor about this is the fact that increases the already harsh cost-to-entry of melee

modded controller still cheaper than a good fightstick fwiw

theres like 1-3 people that can properly do this and if they charged properly & based on demand itd be really expensive.

i mean in theory supply will rise to meet demand, "all you need" is a wii with input display a file and a guide

in theory if demand was really that high, we could just 3d print faceplates at scale

you're also forgetting that these notches wear out like 10 times faster than normal ones, and you need a lot of maintenance.
