I think that's probably one of the biggest low hanging fruits/easiest fixes in the future. Going to steal this advice/feedback.

Where's the incentive though? If an ssbm commentator actually devotes full time to their craft, what are the chances they make a living?

Yoi already do get paid, but again, if you dont show that youre worth more then youre not gonna make a living. U cant expect a job posting

The problem is that the best smash commentators are not valued higher than many top 100 players with no real exp, and thats on you.

what do you mean? tafo was known as a bad commentator for a long time before recently perception changed as he got better
