I've seen & interacted with the greater esports world more than anyone in Smash & I think you'd be surprised LMAO

I dont know where you get this assumption Many of them a) dont know their game b) have low to no game knowledge c) in it for the paycheck

There are the all-stars of every scene but Smash by & large has a group of casters more passionate about their game than any game I know

Passionate or not, our commentators suck dick compared to other esports imo and most put more work into playing than commentating.

Ish, but the gap is in commentary fundamentals (pronunciation, diction, pacing) and not in game knowledge. We prob win on game knowledge.

Can't agree with this at all. Watching any of the commentators commentate a floatie match is unbearable because of no knowledge

This is a good point, but supports mine - this has more to do with commentary fundamentals than game knowledge.
