personally I am way more open to a stick with analog controls since this gets almost all benefits without allowing for too much

I am super down with this idea. I think this is also the most appealing option to on-the-fence FGCers; it's a big win everywhere

yeah, the problem is altho change is exciting, too big (digital input) will almost definitely split the community.
