eh it would be useful for shield drop platcancel nair. Other than that id probably just stay shield dropping normally

rofl, its MUCH better, esp for non sheik chars who get shield poked when they angle. It also requires no buffering.

dont need to tilt if you just move your stick during shieldstun. Also im not sure shield drops actually buffer

they do but im talking buffering that you need to hold a direction before the drop. during shield stun is a read also.

yeah and twitch shielding (not planning to shield drop) is very common as well and huge disadvantage

same thing with holding shield during hitstun, if youre buffering forward that makes u DI that way as well etc

Yeah ugh. Essentially its MUCH MUCH better than notching and takes no skill or practice and allows for faster FF.
