some of the PODE controllers are really reliable. Albeit often at the cost of other problems. Peak GCC performance is ok imho.

if you are referring to x being perfect 1.00 by "straight", that's true, but only <1.266% dash speed difference.

For the first 6 frames (for Falco, different for other characters depending on their stats), there is 0 difference.
