Fun fact, your dash speed is on average about 1-2% faster on a box vs a GCC due to imperfections in how GCC inputs are handled by Melee.

Yes and yes, but the pivot frame should always let you get to opposite gate before you lose more speed Should be consistent 1-2%

That's true too, but it's far outside the tolerance of a gate to lose >2%. The main issue is that losing 0% is impossibly small.

Go into 20xx 4.05 input testing mode and you can see for yourself. Your axis maximums will almost always be 0.9875 (1.0 = max)
