Fun fact, your dash speed is on average about 1-2% faster on a box vs a GCC due to imperfections in how GCC inputs are handled by Melee.

That's true too, but it's far outside the tolerance of a gate to lose >2%. The main issue is that losing 0% is impossibly small.
would be interesting to test how straight left/right players go, since dash speed is so important in melee

Go into 20xx 4.05 input testing mode and you can see for yourself. Your axis maximums will almost always be 0.9875 (1.0 = max)
